LCCN was birthed out of a common vision among Christians working in London Councils, to mobilse one another to live out their faith at work and thus be good news for their places of work.
Our Vision
As followers of Jesus, we seek to promote diversity in our communities and the workplace through contributing to and demonstrating a culture of mutual love, values, respect and integrity.
Our Purpose
As employees & residents of London Councils our primary purpose is to carry out our duties and service with excellence and consider our work as service unto God Himself. We have been placed in positions to serve and support our communities, employers and colleagues faithfully and with integrity.
Our Aims
- To provide support to existing London Council Christian groups across the 33 Boroughs
- To encourage all Councils in London to support their Christian Fellowships
- To share good practices on how better to serve The Council e.g. via prayer support, practical support o The Borough e.g. forge stronger links within the community
- To provide training and support for leaders and members of LCCN network groups.
- To become the preferred source for mentoring.
- To encourage and pray for each other.
